As a pet sitter, my priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of the animals I care for. First and foremost, I establish a safe environment by removing hazardous items and ensuring all areas are accessible without risks. Trust is essential. Before I start caring for the animal, I arrange a preliminary meeting to get to know the owner and their pet. This allows me to observe the animal’s behavior and understand its needs and habits. During visits, I always follow the owner’s instructions regarding diet, exercise, and daily care. Additionally, I maintain constant communication with the owner, providing updates on the animal’s condition and reporting any anomalies. Finally, I make sure to have emergency contacts and the veterinarian’s details readily available to handle any unexpected situations.
