Hello! I'm Fran, a passionate dog lover and guardian with decades of experience in in-home doggie daycare. I care for your beloved dog while you're on holiday, providing them with a holiday of their own. I believe we don't 'own' our pets; we're their guardians, ensuring they're loved, safe, happy, and healthy. I've hosted dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. Each dog has a unique story and personality, and I love getting to know them and watching them bloom as they explore their surroundings.

Recently I needed to travel for a weekend and was unable to bring along my elderly pup, Newt. Luckily I found Miss Frances who was readily willing to care for my 6 pound, 16 year old, mostly blind, mostly deaf little female who requires twice daily prescription meds as well as prescription food. They apparently bonded as Newt seemed very content when I retrieved her. I’ll definitely hope to use Miss Frances’s services again—it’s such a relief to find someone who’s so capable and caring.
Frances is a wonderful pet caregiver and walker. She has watched my dog, NiNi, over a few nights many times and I always trust my dog's health and quality of life when she is with Frances. Frances even makes homemade her homemade dog treats! I've never done that, and I'm NiNi's owner.
I can attest to love and care Fran gives to all animals in her care. She gentle and ensures that the best care is given with her own dogs as well as those she encounters. Your pet(s) will be treated as if they were her own.

A typical day
A Typical Day with Fran 🐾 Belly rubs and morning love start the day, followed by breakfast and a tail-wagging walk—through the neighborhood, to a fenced dog park, or along the river (on leash, of course!). Afternoons are for cozy naps and dinner, topped off with healthy homemade frozen treats in the summer. Spontaneous play and lots of love guaranteed!

Availability
I understand schedules vary and sometimes life presents surprises where we need to find someone to care for our beloved pup at the last minute. I work remotely with a flexible schedule. Let me help you when you need it most. Every day, I plan activities to engage their brains and exercise their bodies, often involving adventures through the neighborhood, trips to the fenced dog park, and visits to the river on hot days. At the end of the day, we enjoy healthy treats that I prepare myself, which also engage their brains and senses.
