Growing up on a farm, I have experience caring for animals of all kinds! My husband and I have a dachshund, George, and we’ll treat your pup like our own. Being Dachshund parents, we have high quality ramps for our furniture to provide an extra layer of safety and comfort, whether you own a dachshund or a senior pup. It's hard to communicate how perfect Fiona is. When we moved from Brooklyn, we had a set group of sitters that we felt comfortable with, this was our first Austin experience with Rover. Fiona is a dream come true. She's communicative, thoughtful, cares deeply for dogs, a great photographer, and extremely high integrity. She cared for Oliver, cleaned our home, had no hiccups or concerns. She even suggested a meeting and a walk before her care so she could get used to all parts of sitting. Not to mention, she's bright and so kind it's a pleasure to interact with her even beyond her care of Oliver. I'm already planning to book her again.

Your pet will receive constant love and attention, creating a home-away-from-home experience. We only offer Rover stays part-time, with no more than approx two bookings per month if even, which ensures your dog receives the personal attention and care they deserve.

A typical day
I adapt fun activities based on each dog’s energy level and personality. We have plenty of toys for playtime at home, and I enjoy taking dogs on the nearby trail if they’re up for it. For pups who prefer a slower pace, shorter walks around the neighborhood are always an option or playing ball in our garden. My top priority is making sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and happy.

My husband works remotely full-time, and I’m home Thursdays and Fridays, which gives us a flexible schedule to prioritize your pet’s well-being. Your pup will get plenty of attention and care to keep them comfortable and happy!
