The Golden Leash
My story begins with my housemate bringing a puppy home. It was love at first bark. Not only did I want to spend all my time with this furrrrr ball, but I also wanted to become a fantastic dog whisperer. I took all the classes I could find to be a trainer and understand animal behaviors. My passion is all our misunderstood animals, from the big bullies to the short, feisty bark-o-meters, from those who scream wuff to those who meows at you nonstop. I recently started raising chickens at a nearby farm as well. So if your pet friend, clucks, call me. After being diagnosed with Lupus, I took a long break for health reasons but continued to take in all the love my pet friends at home and in your home gave me. Pets taught me patience; they showed me that the energy you provide is the one you receive. I also rescued a tripod and a barn cat to go with our entire pack. My dog diamond has made it in this year's Pet calendar for humane rescue alliance! Go, Diamond! If you introduce me to your pet, I will have a different, holistic approach, but we both need to understand that training takes time, patience, and consistency. After a horrible experience, I almost changed my career, but it was not the pets. Trust me, they always loved and invited me back into their lives, which I am grateful for. I believe in my heart that animals are better than humans.

I currently do not board animals. Due to the still ongoing pandemic, I do not board animals this might change in the future again. I take safety serious.

Feriha stayed with Langston in my home and took excellent care of him. Langston is a needy and spoiled dog and he enjoy his time with Feriha. I got updated with photos and was very content. I would book her again.
Feriha is an amazing dog lover. My dog is totally in love with her. After my short trip I came home to a happy and tired dog. Will book again !
Feriha is such a reliable walker - she goes above and beyond and really cares for our Sam.
This sitter appears very communicative, and I toiled over whether to write this, but had someone written this for me, I wouldn’t have hired her. My largest issue was, she did not take my dog out until 2 pm multiple days, and my dog was nearly in pain holding her pee. We have cameras and door alerts each time a door outside in our home is opened. She also brought her friend in our house and did not tell us. When I asked about this, because I didn’t want to go immediately to a negative review, she claimed the friend just dropped something off, but the person was in our house for 5 hours. Just be transparent. Ask up front. She also said long haul symptoms from COVID kept her from getting our dog out until afternoon to pee each day; I’m sympathetic, but this doesn’t make sense. I don’t want perfect; I do want honesty from someone I’m entrusting in my home with my pets. Don’t lie when we have cameras and door alarms that can validate things.
Feriha was great with Ricky, sent pictures and updates every day, and I came home to a happy dog!
Feriha was great. She took excellent care of our 11 month old puppy and our 16 year old cat. I felt at ease knowing both our beloved pets were in great hands. We will, for sure, have Feriha take care of our pets again.

Schedule
Very flexible. I currently have a remote job which allows me to answer to my client's needs. I do go to school, but it's online.
