We are a passionate and experienced couple who love to travel, meet new people, and, most importantly, care for dogs. Since returning to Calgary in October 2022 after living in Germany for three years, we have dedicated ourselves to providing high-quality pet care. Over time, we’ve realized that many of our bookings come from owners of large breed dogs, allowing us to specialize in their unique needs. We understand that big dogs require not only strength and confidence but also patience, experience, and the right approach to handling and care. Some of the amazing large breeds we’ve cared for include: 🐾 Odin – English Mastiff/Labrador 🐾 Dozer – Great Dane 🐾 Luna – Great Dane 🐾 Walther – Great Dane 🐾 Happy – English Mastiff/Great Dane 🐾 Maverick – Great Dane That said, we also have experience caring for smaller breeds and are happy to accommodate dogs of all sizes. I’ve hired Felix and Rachel for walks and house drop-ins for my dog, Sadie. Sadie is not always comfortable with meeting new people but she looks forward to visits and is relaxed and happy with them. They are punctual, keep me updated and always respond quickly to messages. I’ll definitely be booking g them again.
Rachel and Felix are absolutely amazing dog walkers! They took care of Blake with so much love and attention — beyond anything we could have imagined. Blake came home happy, tired, and clearly had an incredible time with them. We couldn’t be more grateful and highly recommend them to anyone looking for truly wonderful care for their dog!

For us the base for a successful dog sit is the meet and greet upfront. We want to get to know you and your pet/home. Unfortunately in the past we have had people that would book the bare minimum of care for their dog. We are not supporting any type of irresponsible pet care.

Let us know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that we can account for. Rachel has experience in working with blind dogs for example. During the meet and greet we get to ask all the questions we consider to be important for us as well as answering your questions!
A typical day
We love to stimulate dogs physically and mentally. We'll play a bunch of games, check out all the new smells in your neighborhood and explore the park nearby. Felix goes for runs when it’s nice outside. We had clients in the past that really enjoying running with him!

Availability
We can organize our time to be flexible. So far there is not enough time (not the right environment) to have a dog ourselves. That's the reason we love Rover. After consultation with you, we love to discover different places with your dog. Agreements and special needs of the dogs are the guidelines for us and will be discussed individually.
