Pet care experience
I started house/pet sitting for a family friend while they went on holiday so they didn’t have to send their dog somewhere else. Since then I have cared for both dogs and cats ranging from 18 weeks to 14 years old. I have my own Jack Russell so I understand how important our pets are and know how valuable it is to go away knowing your pet is safe and happy. I provide a service that will match exactly what you do, I have the flexibility of working from home and have a clean driving license which means I can travel.

Faye was extremely thorough when she visited us in advance. Unfortunately, we had to move our dates and then she wasn't able to complete the full 7 days due to existing bookings. However, she was extremely helpful handing over to the other sitter, swapping over bedding and letting us know when the other sitter had taken over. She sent photos and communicated regularly, took the dogs to the secure fields as requested (even though it was her first time using them when I asked her). She kept the house clean and tidy and cleaned up after the dogs in the garden. The dogs were very happy to have her!
Faye was so fab with my dog, followed all instructions, lots of playtime, sent regular updates and was so flexible with timings and a last minute booking! The bonus being my house was cleaner than when I left it! Thanks Faye xxxx

I try and replicate exactly what owners do to keep pets as calm and in a routine where possible. For example I will copy the same meal times, how long they go for a walk, where they’re allowed to sleep, if they shouldn’t be left, if the pet is currently puppy training etc. My purpose is to make pets feel as safe and happy as possible until their owners return, my role is to give them as much love and fun while maintaining the same routine.

A typical day
I love going on long walks and finding areas near you that will be suitable. I find fun activities to do both indoors and out and enjoy teaching animals new tricks and encouraging them to say fit and healthy. I do enjoy being cosy/curling up and resting after a long day!

I’m a role where I can work from anywhere that has WIFI. The company I work for are very supportive and I have the ability to manage my own time to meet the needs of the pets and their owners. I work 9 to 5 Monday to Friday with weekends off so plenty of time before and after work to meet the needs of pets and provide the best care and company. I can break off throughout the day to provide the care needed.
