It's so important for me to make sure I am clear on what your pets meds, diet, needs, and routine look like. I will ask follow up questions to make sure we are 100% on the same page. I have a pet in my home, so I understand not leaving things out that could be harmful, and what makes him feel most safe and comfortable. Examples: 1. if your dog is not dog friendly and i see a dog approaching, I will step aside or cross the street. 2. if you have a elderly dog, I will make sure that our walks are slower paced and they are not put in stressful situations. 3. If your cat likes to jump up on a counter that they aren't supposed to be on, i'd make sure the area is safe by removing sharp objects or things that would be dangerous for them to ingest. Id also ask if i could move their cat post to an area near this to encourage them to play on this instead. 4. If your animal needs meds at 12:05p.m., I will give them at 12:05p.m.. Trust me, after putting my dog through Chemo, I understand timing is everything!

Information Faith R. would like to know about your pet

Please always let me know if your dog does well socializing at dog parks or with other dogs/kids on walks. Things like how many times a day they poop/pee so that I can report back if anything was out of the ordinary.

A typical day

I like to go on long walks to get energy out and have a few fun mind games & snacks prepped. My dog personally loves a frozen lickpad with peanut butter/yogurt/banana. It gives him something stimulating to do for 20-30 minutes. We also love to play tug of war or hide and seek with his favorite stuffed animals. I work from home so another great aspect pets love is laying next to me and knowing they have a friend is close by and available.

Pet care experience

I have loved Animals ever since I can remember. I have been around pets me whole life as my grandfather is a vet! I rescued my dog 'Rudy' when he was 2yo and now he's almost 8yo! Rudy is my greatest joy. He is a people cuddling, Cancer surviving Hero! There is nothing I wouldn't do for him. Rudy was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer called HSA. I opted to put him through Chemo, after surgery/chemo/dozens of vet visits Rudy is cancer free! I am extremely vigilant with his meds, schedule, safety and comfort. I know that putting your trust in someone to watch your baby can be very hard. I want to assure you that I am thorough, loving, and trusted. I have hired a few pet sitters before on this app and honestly not had the best experience. My standards are high and I promise I would treat your baby the way I treat my own!

Had a family emergency come up right before a trip, and Faith seriously came through for me on super short notice. She was prompt, kind, and just a genuinely kind person. She left really thoughtful notes after each walk, sent me pictures of Shamu (who clearly adored her), and gave me total peace of mind while I was away. I couldn’t have asked for better. Highly recommend her if you want someone who actually cares about your pet.

Faith has been a longtime friend of mine; basically, since I moved to downtown Los Angeles roughly three years ago. During that time, she has taken care of my cat, Dali, as vacations, trials, and tribulations came up. She has been nothing short of an exceptional caregiver who is thorough in her work towards animals. Communication is crucial regarding pet sitting, and Faith consistently provided updates on Dali. Thankfully, there were no emergencies, but if one were to occur, I know I could trust her to handle it smoothly.
