It’s important for me to know each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs ahead of time so I can provide the best possible care. This includes feeding schedules, portion sizes, medication instructions, allergies, medical conditions, and any behavioral quirks like anxiety, reactivity, or shyness. I also like to know how they do on walks, what their favorite toys or activities are, how they interact with other animals, and any training cues they understand. For cats, details like litter box preferences, hiding spots, and comfort levels with new people are especially helpful. The more I know in advance, the easier it is for me to keep their environment consistent, reduce stress, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away.

I love keeping pets active, happy, and engaged based on their personality and energy level. For dogs, I enjoy walks, playtime, fetch, tug-of-war, outdoor time, and reinforcing basic commands during everyday activities. Since I have a highly energetic dog myself, I’m very comfortable keeping active pets entertained and exercised. For cats and calmer pets, I enjoy interactive toys, play sessions, brushing, cuddling, and giving them attention at their own comfort level. I always make sure pets get plenty of companionship, stimulation, and care so they feel comfortable, relaxed, and have fun while their owners are away
