Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs ever since I can remember! I was incharge of bathing, feeding, and picking up after our dogs since I was 10. 10 years later and now I am fortunate to share my own precious dog Ghostie with my roomate! Together we manage her feeding, walking, play time, and training. Between our two schedules we always have time to be home to take care of Miss Ghostie! I also have other animal care experience including horses, goats, pigs, and chickens, so I am confident in following care instructions. I used the Rover app a couple years ago, so I’m familiar with the processes, but I am new to using the at home dog care. I will be home for the majority of the time, but when i’m not my roomate will be home to watch your dog too. Both of us are committed to the dogs we watch in our home. We frequently watch my dad’s dog, and they always have the best time, so we thought this app would be a good opportunity to give our Ghostie some more friends! We just have to introduce Ghostie to your doggy and they will be begging to have play dates at my house :) I am also available for dog walks in the mornings before it gets too hot outside. I love hikes, so please let me know if I can hike with your dog!

I have a screened in patio the leads to a small fenced in yard with fake grass for potty area. I leave the doors cracked open so they can always access the backyard. I feed my dog morning and night, give her regular baths, brush her teeth, regular walks, play fetch, and to wind down give lots of cuddles at night.

Let me know if you dog has a particular feeding schedule, or is particular about eating around other dogs I can always separate the dogs during feeding time. Or if your dog is anxious around other dogs, Ghostie is very friendly but she gets a big burst of energy when she realizes theres a dog infront of her. It can be a bit intimidating to anxious dogs.
A typical day
With another pet here they will get to join Ghostie on her walks, play with her excess amount of toys, and have full access to the backyard to potty. I love taking dogs on hikes, so if your dog likes hikes let me know! We also live on a golf course so as it gets later, and the golfers leave, we like to let our dog run around the grass.

Availability
I currently work from 3-9pm, 5 days a week. Im off and home all day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I work at the restaurant down the street and its so close I could walk. I have an indoor camera to keep an eye on the dogs and in the case of an emergency I can get home in under 5 minutes. The maximum amount of time I will be gone a day is 6 hours. Its getting to be super hot so I typically take my dog on daily walks early morning and after sunset. I also like to fit in atleast one or two hikes a week to keep my dog happy!
