I have grown up with 2 dogs in the household for nearly my entire life, and after noticing an increase in community cats in my neighborhood, I began trapping, neutering, as many as I could. I have always loved dogs, but building trust with feral cats inspired me to adopt my own and, shortly after, another one. I have been actively caring for dogs since I was young and currently have about 7 years experience caring for cats. Many of my neighbors and coworkers rely on me to take their dogs out regularly, play with, and feed them periodically while they are away, and I have experience staying within the home overnight or for long periods of time to offer care to pets. Having experience with my cat who has required medication throughout the years, I often sit cats that require eye drops, pills, an inhaler, or liquid medication through a syringe.

I have used multiple times and Erin is by far the best sitter that has stayed with my fur babies! My pups absolutely love Erin. Erin sent pictures daily and from the photos I could tell that my babies were well taken care of and loved by Erin. When I arrived home, it was spotless! I highly recommend Erin!
Erin was amazing . She was so sweet with my pup . She even successfully managed to get her in her walking harness a few times ( my pup gets very anxious if anyone but me walks her) so I was very happy to see that she was able to do that ! She took my pup out frequently even though I didn’t tel her that was required which was so nice . She even had a few play sessions with her in the backyard . Honestly Erin was the best . I will 100 % being using her services again.
Erin was a pleasure to work with. I could tell from the pics that my cat felt comfortable, and she’s normally pretty skittish. Recommend!!
Erin was so helpful taking care of my cat while we were away! He is a senior cat who needs an inhaler, but that did not deter Erin from providing him with fantastic care. She was friendly and professional and provided great communication. Would definitely recommend her!

I have experience caring for dogs and cats in my own home and am meticulous at following specific needs and requirements of different pets. Having a one cat that receives eye medication and a dog that must follow a prescribed diet, I am careful to ensure each pet’s needs are met to keep them safe, happy, and healthy. I have experience dog and cat sitting in other’s homes, and I recognize that some animals are wary of a stranger in their space. I am always willing to have a few casual meetings first to build comfort and to encourage positive associations with play or treats to create a sense of trust and safety.

Please let me know if your dog has any specific dietary restorations or allergies to ensure the safety of your pet or any special needs that need to be accommodated. I am very careful to avoid leash escapes on walks, and it is helpful to know if your pet has chase instincts and if certain things trigger it. I love to sit dogs of all sizes, but I am most comfortable walking small/medium sized dogs.
A typical day
Weather permitting, I enjoy spending time outside playing fetch with a ball or frisbee and practicing commands and skills. I enjoy neighborhood walks and often take my dogs to Hempstead Lake State Park to walk the dog path. I also enjoy indoor play with toys and am always willing to give belly rubs and reassuring pets!
