I always stop & pet the dogs :)
As a mom to a 5 year old blue heeler and an avid traveler, I know how hard it is to leave fur babies behind & the importance of finding someone you trust to care for them while away. With me, you can expect clear communication, daily photo updates, 2x daily walks/hikes and a clean and tidy home upon return. I’ve cared for pets from over a weekend to over a month plus, locally and abroad, and have experience with a wide range of breeds and needs including working avalanche rescue dogs. I am confident in off leash settings, with the use of e-collars and understand high energy needs. I’ve had dogs, cats and plants in my family all my life & I wouldn’t have it any other way. My well trained and friendly pup Cliff loves making new friends to hike and play with and makes dog sits feel more like summer camp for pups, alleviating the stress and anxiety of parents being away by making a new furry friend!

I love to take active pets on long hikes/walks as their able always taking into consideration weather and season, on shorter walks I prefer to let them stop and sniff as long as they like to support mental stimulation. At home I encourage home friendly play like searching for a toy or backyard fetch when the space allows. Of course snuggles are always available for pets who are less mobile or slowing down.

Erica is wonderful. She so clearly cares about the dogs she watches and brings loving and calm energy to their care. Very grateful to have found her.
Erica was super good at communicating with us and sent us plenty of pictures of our dog. And we came home to a clean and tidy house!
My family felt comfortable with Erica and her pup Cliff watching our two pups in our home while we were on vacation. She cared for our home and most importantly made our dogs comfortable. She regularly sent photos which was nice.
Erica did such a stellar job taking care of our kitties while we were camping! Erica is super mature and clearly competent, which made a big difference in helping me feel completely confident both cats would be fine even though we were out of service while we were gone. When we got home, the kitties were calm and everything was clean and in perfect order. I highly recommend Erica and would definitely feel comfortable leaving our dog with her as well if we were taking a dog-free trip!
This is the first time I can remember both girls being happy to see me after coming home from an out of town trip lasting two nights or more when using Rover, and the cats "not going on strike" when I came back. Both my girls (cats) promptly ate supper when I served them, and Erica/Cliff (Cliff the dog being Erica's assistant and liasion to dogs and cats) must have done everything right. and my cats seem to say "yes please hire them again....they excerised us and Cliff held very good discussions to excerise our brains".
Erica is a great communicator. She sent tons of pics while I was out of town. My dogs had an absolute blast with her and her pup. We will be booking her in future

I am a yoga instructor and massage therapist & i work seasonally so my availability is flexible. I am a morning person, currently training for an 1/2 marathon and live a very active lifestyle & I love the company of pups on trail!
