I currently work part-time as an independently contracted driver and also as a photographer. I set my own hours and can easily adjust to you and your pet's needs. With additional compensation, I can even provide a few professional portraits in digital format or with print and framing options. :)

I live in a one bedroom condo with my wife. Our complex is very wooded and shaded with many natural areas to go for walks. If your pet were to stay here with us, it will receive bathroom breaks and outdoor time every few hours. If I am to come to your place, I will follow your requests and treat your space with the upmost respect.

Please obviously share any medical issues, medicine(s), or extra care that may be needed for your pet. I'm totally fine with administering prescribed medications and/or treatments. Please also note any known allergies and feel free to provide any of your pets favorite treats, toys, and the like.
A typical day
The neighborhood in which I live has a lovely, shaded walking path through coastal live oaks. The Indian River Preserve is also very close and provides another wonderful walking opportunity in the shaded woods. If your dog likes to swim, I'm positioned in between the beach and the Intracoastal waterway. With your permission your dog will be allowed to swim. I don't mind using extra towels and/or bathing the dog with a gentle outdoor hose. Of course swimming and bathing are optional and completely up to you, but your dog will enjoy time outside regardless. I also visit the Smyrna Dunes Park quite often near sunrise and sunset. With your pet under my care, I'd certainly have them in tow with leash in hand during these cooler hours for a nice boardwalk stroll. If your doggo is younger and of higher energy I may even run with him/her. For senior pets, I am diligent to match activity with the ability of the animal. I'm careful never to push a pet beyond it's physical capacity and happy to provide assistance for the elderly. When our dogs hips began to fail, we had great success assisting them and also lifting them by using a life-vest that provided handles. This device also helped them swim up until their last days. This device can be seen in one of my photos. It's fashioned by Calab the black and white Pit Bull.

I have responsibly cared for cats and dogs my entire life. In addition to caring for many animals throughout my childhood and young adulthood, my wife and I cared for 4 rescued dogs that all lived to the ripe old age of 14. We had two Pit-Bulls, a Dutch Shephard, and a black Labrador mix that all lived as a happy pack for nearly a decade. We also became the go-to sitters for many of our friend's, family member's, and neighbor's dogs. These dogs would always easily integrate into our pack due to our packs great behavior and gentle training. I am never violent and only use compassionate care and positive reinforcement with any fur baby. I am also a very active and outdoorsy kind of person. You can count on your pet receiving plenty of outdoor walks and/or time spent doing their favorite activities. I always consider ground temperature in Florida and know to avoid hot sand and boardwalks during Florida Summers and even hot Spring days. Rest assured that your pet will be treated with the kindest of care.

First time I ever used Rover.com. Traveling, to meet friends at the beach and the Airbnb did not allow pets. Eric was kind and thoughtful, and took great care of my little dog, giving him walks in the shade on these hot hot July days and tending to his little doggy being with Great care.

Eric is an incredible caregiver for my dog Buddy. Everytime I'm traveling for work or vacation. He is the one person I can truly count on to make sure my dog is in good hands. He's responsible, punctual and accountable. My dog Buddy loves him and they always have an extraordinary time when they are together. I wouldn't trust anyone else except Eric to care for my best friend while I'm away.
