Pet care experience
I've been pet-sitting in Lawrence for 5 years now, and I've learned many things over that time period that I am sure will benefit your dogs while you're away! I started pet-sitting as a way to get more dogs into my life since I wasn't able to adopt a dog myself. I still love meeting all the dogs and their parents as well! I have experience with senior dogs, with administering medications, and with puppies and adolescent dogs. I work 9-4 and get to come home at lunch. That way your dog gets breakfast, checked in on at lunch, and played with in the evening. I follow care instructions for the pets, but definitely some playing outside and some cuddling. I'm very diligent about giving the dogs lots of affection!

A typical day
I love going on walks, hopefully in the neighborhood or even at the dog park. It all depends on the energy and temperament of the dog. For lazier dogs, I love playing fetch in the backyard or even inside.

I should have plenty of time to play with your pets! I have shifts in the morning to early afternoon, and can watch pets before or after those shifts, as early as 2 pm.
