To help me give your pet the best care possible, please share the following: • Feeding routine (times + portions or cup measurements are super helpful!) • Walking needs • How long pets can be independent at home • Potty habits (do they have accidents indoors / what’s their usual routine?) • Medical needs or medications • Fears, triggers, or funny habits I should know • How they do with other animals and new people • Any cameras in the home • Keys or codes (instructions on how I will be getting in and out of the house) A Google Doc or notes with all of this information (plus anything else you’d like me to know) is typically appreciated. I kindly ask that an emergency contact who can assist if I am ever locked out of the home or a backup plan is provided. Unfortunately, I have been locked out of buildings before by other residents or maintenance. This greatly interferes with not only the safety of your pets but mine as well. ☹️

I spend the majority of the time in the home as I am a fully virtual student. If you are looking for someone to spend as much time in the home as possible, I am a most likely a good fit! While I am a homebody, my schedule is always subject to change as I have may have personal commitments to attend to. I am here to engage in tons of playtime, outdoor time, enrichment games, and lots of belly rubs. When I’m house-sitting for dogs that need more than three 30 minute walks a day, I kindly ask that any additional walks be booked separately during my stay, since they come with an extra fee. For cats, I offer gentle companionship, toys, cozy naps, and any cuddle time they’re up for. I also keep their feeding, potty, and medication routines consistent so they feel at home. I am aware no two pets are the same and understand some may be shy and prefer to do their own thing. 😊 Whether your pet is playful and energetic or laid-back and cuddly, I’ll match them and make sure they feel cared for every step of the way.

I’ve cared for pets at all life stages, including bottle-feeding kittens to supporting seniors with medical needs, or those who simply just need walking and some extra play-time 🐶🎾🐕🦺! I administered IV fluids, gave daily medication, and provided supportive to my own cat battling lymphoma. That experience, along with fostering kittens, volunteering at shelters, and even working with human patients in hospitals, has strengthened my ability to provide attentive, loving care. I have tons of experience walking dogs and providing in-home sitting for both cats and dogs, as well as other small animals. Whether your pet is young, old, or needs extra support, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. My strong passion for caregiving both through pet care and my education as a pre-nursing student sets me apart. Emma was such a kind and communicative dog sitter. We had a bit of an emergency with the pups after they got into some things they shouldn't, and she dealt with it in an incredibly responsible and thoughtful way. Highly recommend her! Left my home clean and wonderful to come home to!
Emma was absolutely amazing! She stayed at my place and watched my two kitties for over a week and sent updates each day. She was awesome to work with and super responsive as well. I would definitely book her again!
Emma stayed with our two cats, Nyla and Aurora, for five nights, and overall we had a positive experience. She was punctual, responsive, and attentive to our feeding instructions, which we really appreciated. She also left our home very clean—washing the sheets and taking out her trash—which made coming home much easier. There were a few areas where things could have gone more smoothly, and we recognize that some of this was a shared learning experience. For example, there was some confusion around the parking instructions, which led to a bit of back-and-forth and frustration on both ends. In hindsight, we could have sent those instructions more explicitly and further ahead of time, and that may have helped set clearer expectations from the start. Similarly, while Emma did send daily photo updates, we would have appreciated more pictures throughout the day, as we had noted this in our instructions and are accustomed to more frequent updates from past sitters. That said, we also could have done a better job clearly communicating what “more updates” looked like to us and confirming expectations before the stay began. Lastly, while the overall cleanliness of the home was great, the area around the litter box wasn’t cleaned and the litter wasn’t taken out. This wasn’t a major issue for us, but for future sits, litter maintenance is an important part of cat care. We also recognize that we could have better prepared the space by leaving out fresh towels and making household needs more obvious, which might have helped avoid any uncertainty. Overall, we were happy with Emma’s stay and appreciated her reliability and care for our cats. With clearer upfront communication on both sides and a bit more alignment on expectations, future stays could be even better.
