Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Emma and caring for animals has been a part of my life since a little girl! With years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of animal behavior, I’m well-educated and passionate about providing the highest level of care for your beloved pets. Whether it's dogs, cats, or just about anything that breathes — I love them all! I currently have two amazing dogs of my own — an Australian Shepherd and a Labrador — along with two beautiful kitties, so I know how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your furry family members. I'm honest, reliable, and always committed to ensuring your pets feel safe, loved, and cared for in your absence. As a full-time nursing student graduating in May 2026, I bring compassion, responsibility, and dedication into everything I do — including pet care. With me, you’ll never have to stress or worry; your pets will be in kind and capable hands.

So great, thank you!

Emma was very quick to respond initially and set up the visits. It was an absolutely stress free experience from start to finish. I see no reason to look elsewhere for dog sitting.

Safety, trust & environment
When it comes to caring for your pets, trust and safety are my top priorities. For over five years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for my neighbors’ pets, from daily walks to overnight stays, and they’ve always been able to count on me for dependable, compassionate care. I treat every pet I look after like my own, ensuring they’re safe, secure, and loved while you’re away. The safety of my own pets is incredibly important to me, and I bring that same level of vigilance and care when watching over yours. You can rest easy knowing that your pets are in responsible, caring hands, and I’ll always go the extra mile to make sure they’re well taken care of.
Information Emma H. would like to know about your pet
When caring for your pet, it’s important to let me know if there are any behavioral concerns or special needs I should be aware of. If your dog has aggression towards other people or animals, is territorial, or has any unique needs, I’ll make sure to take the appropriate precautions to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. For example, my own Australian Shepherd is very protective of his sister and me, and he’s not too fond of strangers or other dogs. I’ve learned that keeping him on a tight leash and close by at all times helps ensure safety for everyone involved. I also have experience with special needs pets, including blind animals. I’ve cared for a neighbor’s 13-year-old blind Golden Retriever, and while he had specific needs, we had a wonderful time together. I made sure he was in extra careful hands, and I took everything into account when planning our time together. Whether your pet has physical challenges, emotional sensitivities, or specific behavioral quirks, I’m more than happy to adjust my approach to make them feel safe, secure, and loved.
A typical day
A typical day watching your pet is all about fun, comfort, and plenty of love! First things first, I make sure your pet gets a nice, calm start to the day with some cuddles and belly rubs — because who doesn’t love those? If your pet is up for it, we’ll head outside for a walk, where I’ll let them explore, sniff around, and enjoy some fresh air. Once we’re back inside, it’s time for some play! I’ll grab their favorite toys, whether it’s a squeaky ball, a feather wand, or anything they love, and we’ll have some fun together. After all the excitement, it’s time for some snuggles and relaxation, maybe with a few treats sprinkled in to keep things extra sweet. Whether it’s giving your pet a good scratch behind the ears or lounging on the couch together, I’ll make sure they feel loved, happy, and secure all day long.

Availability
As a full-time nursing student, my schedule can get pretty packed, but I’m still always happy to lend a helping hand when it comes to caring for your pets. This semester, my classes are all online, with a few clinical rotations at the local school system, so I do have some flexibility. While my schedule can fill up quickly, I’m more than happy to work with you to find a time that fits — just reach out, and we can arrange something that works around my commitments! Your pets’ well-being is important to me, and I’m here to make sure they’re cared for while you're away. Feel free to message me anytime, and we’ll get something on the calendar!
