Emma looked after our dog well, and we had no concerns about his care during the time he was with her, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, she had to cancel a booking at the last minute due to being unwell. While we completely understand that health issues can arise unexpectedly, the cancellation wasn’t communicated in advance, which meant we had to take a day off work at short notice. On a positive note, she refunded the booking promptly, which we appreciated. Communication overall was a bit difficult, with phone calls often going unanswered and messages replied to after long delays. Her approach felt quite casual compared to other sitters we’ve worked with, and the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations in terms of professionalism. We’re grateful that our dog was well cared for, but would have appreciated clearer and more timely communication throughout.

We were in Cheltenham for a wedding so only in need of a dog sitter for one night, but we would definitely use Emma again if we end back in Cheltenham. She was very responsive and even did a video call with us before to reassure us and talk specifics. She clearly loves dogs and we got updates throughout the stay. Alfie was very comfortable with her at pick up and we could tell he’d been well cared for!
