I have 6 pets as of now, but have had a total of 8. I am very experienced in caring for both cats and dogs, having grown up with them, and am well-versed in walking, feeding, and loving these animals. I have experience in dealing with health issues and administering medication in the form of oral syrups/pills and injections (diabetic and acid reflux).

My services will mostly be given at my client's house as I live with roommates who have allergies. I am incredibly open and encourage scheduling meetings and interviews beforehand to ensure that this arrangement works for both parties. Regarding caring for the animals, I would spend ample time getting to know your pets, not only to make sure that they are getting emotional care, but to build a trusting relationship that will allow me to walk, feed, and care for them. As mentioned, I have experience in handling medication should the situation need it, as long as I am told and shown the procedure beforehand.

We had Emma watch our 13 year old (still very active) chocolate lab Kayak for 10 days while away on vacation. Kayak is a bit shy and can take a bit to warm up - but with Emma they had an almost magical bond right away. Emma just knows how to be present, and connect - as well as being extremely good at meeting our and our pup's needs. She managed complicated medications including chemo pills, gave walks and played ball - and provided numerous photos during our time away to put our minds at ease that all was well with Kayak during our absence. If you are looking for an extremely capable, mature, and fun-loving care-taker for your pet - we can't recommend Emma enough! Thanks Emma for a job well-done.
Emma was great with my senior dog! Between managing medications and letting him lead on walks, she made sure that he was well taken care of. She was also very communicative and clear, and the house was perfectly clean when I returned.
Emma was so responsive despite the last minute nature of the booking. She was communicative and flexible and took great care of my little kitty who needs sub-q fluids everyday. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a great attentive sitter!

Programa
I am currently a student at UW, but have an open schedule over the summer. I am available over the weekends and weekdays between 9 am and 11 pm for drop-ins. But if there are special instructions, we can always sort out a plan that suits both parties, as I am flexible!
