Reviews

Emma was great with my big dog and is very understanding. I had several last minute changes that went back and forth that was out of our control and she made it very stress free while at the same time taking care of our fur-baby like her own. I would recommend her to anyone all day! Will only be using her from now on when she is available. Great sitter!

Excellent communication and made my pup feel welcomed!

Emma was so great! She sent pictures daily and communicated with us about the entire stay! We could not be happier!!

My dog absolutely loved staying with Emma, her husband, and their cutie pup. We were traveling from out of town and she scheduled a call to speak beforehand. She sent daily check-ins with pictures and was overall incredibly responsive. You can tell that Emma and her husband really care about the pets that they watch. I 10000% percent recommend choosing her to take care of your pet! If we lived closer, she would definitely be our go-to Rover!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced-in backyard with a screened-in porch, plus security cameras around the perimeter for added safety. For daycare, boarding, and drop-ins, I do have a 9-month-old Lab mix who’s very gentle with small dogs and loves following big dogs around. He’s on a strict schedule, fully vaccinated, and both potty and leash trained. If your dog isn’t comfortable around other dogs, we might not be the best fit. But if they can tolerate canine friends, we’re happy to host monitored playtime—with plenty of breaks because we know how exhausting a puppy can be! For older or less active dogs, I can separate outside time, but I can’t guarantee full separation inside the house for extended periods. That said, my pup takes two naps a day, and they’ll always be supervised when together. I also have a cat, but don’t worry—he’s used to having dogs around, and chances are he’ll likely spend the day napping and might not even notice your pup’s visit :).

Please let me know about any special circumstances your dog may have, such as training rules, feeding routines, medications, or specific temperament traits. I’m happy to accommodate their needs to help them feel as comfortable as possible!
A typical day
A typical day starts around 6:40 AM with some backyard time—sniffing, playing with toys, and stretching our legs while I enjoy my coffee. After that, it’s breakfast time, followed by a 20-minute morning walk. While I get some work done, my puppy naps, and I might run a quick errand or two. Around lunchtime, we either go for another walk or, if it’s too hot, we cool off in the backyard with a sprinkler or kiddie pool. The yard has plenty of shade and a screened-in porch, and of course, all outdoor time is supervised. Later in the afternoon, it’s time for another puppy nap, then some free play around the house while I wrap up work. Evenings are for adventure—whether it’s a long 45-minute walk, a trip to the dog park (Ed Austin Park), or even a beach visit!
