I have been pet sitting among family and friends, and even sometimes people through references, since I was in my early years of high school. When asked to pet sit I would always get so excited because I would be able to hangout with some truly awesome animals I didn't get to see as often. I have had a dog in my own house since I was 6 and a cat since I was 15 (and a hamster at one point), so those who hired me could always trust that I knew how to handle their pets. In my time, I've cared for both puppies and old dogs, but I've learned all have the same loving spirit! Some of the dogs required more work than others, such as administering medicine to sick or injured dogs. Most of the time, I enjoy just hanging out with the pets, whether it be taking them for fun walks or lounging with them on the couch (and giving them lots of good head scratches). I also always make sure to send the owner lots of pictures to let them know how their pets are doing.
