My schedule is currently wide open on most days. I would prefer not to stay at the house overnight as I have my own cat to look after. But I am happy to be there at 6am for a potty break or whenever you need! I have immense flexibility at the moment to move things around for your animal's needs.

I cannot board any animals or do doggy daycare, but I am happy to come to you. I would definitely request a quick meet up before booking so we can walk through everything together and your animal can get slightly familiar with me. Once I am caring for them, I just let them set the tone. If they want to hide, I will make sure they are OK, but then generally keep myself very still and quiet so they can feel comfortable. If they want attention and love, we will cuddle, play, and maybe even get brushed. Whatever they want to get some stimulation for the day!

To make them more comfortable with a sitter it helps for me to know what their schedule is like (feeding times, walk times, potty, medication, etc). I also would like to know if they have any special needs such as medication or extra exercise. This also includes behavior such as shyness, separation anxiety, and ability to be around other animals.

Hi there! I am a 28 year old Louisville native. I just moved back home for a hiatus before starting school again in the fall. In the meantime, I am looking for odd jobs and (let's face it) pet sitting is the best option! I have very open flexibility and loads of time to care for your critters so they can be less stressed while their owners are away. (Not to mention, this is basically a dream job.) I grew up with cats, dogs, and tons of other critters. I currently have one cat who is an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) for me. He is a big beautiful gray mix that has a loud voice, sassy attitude, and sharp mind. We have even started learning tricks like lie down and sit! Anything to keep him entertained. I have been a part of many Humane Society and nature preservation camps and programs. For the longest time, I wanted to be a vet. Animals have a special place in my heart. I will always do my research and make sure I can give them the best time and care possible.

Emily was great with my 2 dogs! She came in last minute to be a sitter and really helped me out. She sent me updates and the boys loved her. Would definitely recommend her and use her again.
Loved having Emily around when I was away from my cats! She kept in excellent communication and made sure my pets stayed happy and healthy.

Emily is a fit, energetic, young adult who has a very loving, firm, gentle way with animals. She has raised dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and even hissing cockroaches! Currently she is the loving 'mom' to Josie, an 8 year old rescue cat. Emily is very responsible, dependable, and punctual. She has independent transportation. She is adept at gently and calmly administering medication to even the most reluctant animals. She also loves to play and have fun with them. She would make an excellent dog sitter and/or dog walker.
