I get up early and walk the dogs on the trails behind my house and then have coffee on the porch while the dogs play outside. Then it's chill time in the living room on couches or doggie beds while I get a little bit of work done. I take a looong lunch break and we head outside for some fetch, frisbee, or tag. After a little more work and a siesta, it's back to the trails for a walk.

I'm rarely away from the house for more than two hours at a time, so your pup will have all the attention he/she needs. I've had a lot of experience dealing with various medical issues through my work and Hope Animal Rescue, so I know how to respond to issues that come up.

All the Comforts of Home
Pet care experience
Your dog will have all the comforts of home with me: a big fenced-in yard to play in, couches and doggie beds to lounge on, and humans for cuddles and fetch. I treat all my doggie guests like they were my own dog. I have a fenced backyard for fetch, wooded trails behind my house for walks, and a comfy couch for snuggles! In addition to my Rover experience, I've fostered 18 dogs/puppies for Hope Animal Rescue and I've had dogs all of my life, so I've seen it all! I have a heart for all dogs: babies and seniors, the snugglers and the ones with the constant zoomies, and tiny fierce chihuahuas and the huge "lap dogs." I can board dogs that enjoy playing with other dogs and dogs that prefer to ignore other dogs. I can’t take dogs that need to be the only pet in the house. I don’t require meet and greets, but I will do them for stays of two nights or longer if it makes dog parents feel better. Please note though that I can’t reserve your spot while we coordinate our schedules.
Reviews

My dogs had a great time and were well taken care of. Emily was a fantastic pet sitter and would definitely use again.

emily cared for my littles for 3 overnights in her home, their 1st time away in our 5 years together. in every picture she sent, my anxiety-prone pups looked content & at ease. at our reunion, they were calm & happy, flowing right back into our routine w/o issue. emily has an anchored place in my village of care for my sweet puppy loves.
Emily was great! Cosmo told us he had a blast staying with Emily. She sent us lots of pictures and responded to our questions. We recommend Emily highly!

Emily was great with our 9-month old puppy, Rosie! We were looking for someone who could handle the extra energy of a puppy and be patient as she continues to learn. This was our first time using Rover and Emily was super responsive and provided great updates while Rosie was in her care. Rosie came home happy and tired from playing with Emily's other pups. We would definitely book with Emily again - it was a relief to know Rosie was in such capable hands.
