Hey there! I’m Emily. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience dog sitting for a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages. I’m comfortable working with reactive dogs and am passionate about ethical dog training and reinforcing healthy habits to ensure your pup is as happy as possible. I’m also knowledgeable about animal nutrition and would be happy to chat about all things diet-related. Emily took fantastic care of our fur babies while we were away! She stayed in contact and sent us pics along the way. We returned to happy and well-cared-for pets! We'd book her again in a heartbeat!
Emily had great communication, sent a ton of photos, and our blind senior dog loved her! We felt lucky to have someone so great and trustworthy take care of our buddy while we were away.
We were so lucky to have found Emily. Our pup, Junie, takes a long time to warm up to new people and it takes a while to earn her trust. Emily was endlessly patient in the drop-ins we had her do before having her stay with Junie for a week. In addition to being a kind and calm person, she knows a lot about being around a reactive dog and earning their trust. We felt totally at ease with Junie in Emily’s care and we loved how Emily put together a shared album to see how Junie was doing throughout the week.
I can’t recommend Emily highly enough as a pet sitter! She took wonderful care of my cat, Butter, while I was away. Emily’s attention to detail and genuine love for animals was evident from the start. She provided daily updates with photos and videos, giving me peace of mind knowing Butter was in great hands. Butter warmed up to Emily quickly and looked very happy and relaxed in all the updates. Emily followed all my instructions and I was able to feel very relaxed that Butter was in smart, informed hands if something came up with his health. If you’re looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter, Emily is great.
I highly recommend Emily as a pet sitter! She took great care of my cats Muggy and Henry while I was out of town for a week. She provided daily updates with photos which I really appreciated. The cats warmed up to Emily quickly and seemed very happy and content with her, even the shy one! Emily followed all my instructions and I was able to enjoy my vacation and feel relaxed that the cats were in capable hands. Emily was reliable and trustworthy and obviously loves animals, and I would definitely have her watch my pets again.
I am a professional pet caregiver and Emily has been my backup sitter for YEARS. Emily is completely reliable as well as communicative and kind. She is GREAT with dogs and has worked with a number of reactive and "high maintenance" dogs as well as puppies and adult dogs. I highly recommend her as she is not only qualified but a wonderful person to work with! :)

Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine, especially now that I’ve recently left a 9-5 job in marketing to go to school for midwifery. As a student, I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets I care for. Whether it's fitting in walks, playtime, or just being there for companionship, I’m able to adjust my day around the needs of the pets I’m watching. This flexibility also means I’m available for last-minute care or extended stays when needed. Pet care is a perfect balance to my studies, giving me a chance to step away from studying and spend time doing something I love—caring for some sweet pups and cats!

Caring for pets is something I take very seriously, whether it’s in my home or a client’s. In either setting, I strive to create a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment tailored to the specific needs of each pet. I pay close attention to their routines, preferences, and any special requirements they may have. In my home, I make sure to have plenty of cozy spots for lounging, engaging toys for playtime, and a clean, quiet space for feeding and resting. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and routines, ensuring that the pet feels secure and well-cared for in their familiar environment. Communication is key, so I always keep clients updated with photos and progress reports to ensure they’re comfortable with how their furry friend is doing. My goal is to treat every pet as if they were my own, giving them all the love, attention, and care they deserve!

When I’m caring for pets, I love to make sure they’re having fun and staying engaged! For dogs, this might include going on long walks or hikes, playing fetch, or exploring a nearby park. I’m also a fan of interactive games like tug-of-war or hide-and-seek, which not only provide exercise but also mental stimulation. If they’re up for it, a good belly rub session or cuddle time is always on the agenda! For cats, I enjoy engaging them with laser pointers, feather toys, or puzzle feeders to keep them active and entertained. I also love creating cozy spots for them to lounge in or setting up little climbing adventures if they’re more on the playful side. And, of course, there’s always plenty of time for gentle petting or brushing if that’s what they enjoy. My goal is to tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level, ensuring they’re happy and content while in my care.
