I have been around animals my entire life. I grew up in Alaska raising ducks, chickens, rabbits…even a ferret! I’ve always had dogs and a cats. I currently live with a senior pup and a young cat. We have several backyard chickens too! I worked as a professional dog walker/pet sitter for a number of years in Connecticut. I’m used to being outside rain or shine. I also know the importance of being able to adapt to each pets’ individual needs including special diets or medication.

Emily is my daughter, From the time she was a very little girl, she has loved animals. Emily and her family currently have a dog , cat, chickens and fish and she loves them all and takes such good care of them. Emily would treat anyone's pets like they were her own. She would make a great caregiver for any pet and would treat them with the love and kindness she shows her own animals.
Emily has been one of my dearest friends for over 20 years! One of the bonds of our friendship is our shared love of animals, and she is always my first choice to watch my own pets when we go out of town. She is dependable, detail oriented, and goes above and beyond when pet sitting. Whenever we return from trips, our cat is relaxed and unbothered, because she takes the time to spend time with him as well as making sure he has all the necessities. She's a perfect candidate for Rover, and would absolutely be a kind and trustworthy pet sitter!
