Animals have always held a very special place in my heart. I grew up surrounded by both dogs and cats, and caring for animals has been something I’ve genuinely loved for as long as I can remember. To me, pets aren’t just animals—they’re family, and they deserve to be treated with the same love, patience, and kindness we would want for our own. I have over 15 years of dog-sitting experience and have had the privilege of caring for dogs with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, routines, and individual needs. I’m also a trained dog groomer, which has given me valuable hands-on experience with safe handling, grooming, hygiene, and understanding the little things that can make a pet more comfortable and happy. I’ve also completed veterinary assistant training, giving me additional knowledge and confidence when it comes to providing attentive and responsible care. When your pets are in my care, I treat them as if they were my own. I know how hard it can be to leave your furry family members with someone else, and I want you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re safe, loved, comfortable, and receiving plenty of attention while you’re away. Every pet is different, and I believe their care should be too. Whether your dog is happiest going on long walks, playing and exploring, relaxing on the couch, or simply getting lots of cuddles and companionship, I’m happy to follow their routine and give them the kind of care that makes them feel secure and loved. I’m also happy to accommodate special routines, individual needs, or behavioral quirks that make your pet unique. My goal is not only to care for your pets, but to build a trusting relationship with them—and with you. Your pets’ happiness, safety, and well-being will always be my top priorities. When I care for your pets, I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re in loving, trustworthy hands. I understand that your pets are family, and leaving them in someone else’s care can be stressful. My goal is to make that time away as easy and worry-free for you as possible. While staying in your home, I will respect your space, follow your house rules, and keep things clean and cared for. I’ll also make sure your pets’ normal routines are maintained as closely as possible, because I know how important consistency and familiarity can be to them. If anything unexpected comes up, I will contact you right away. I’m also happy to accommodate special routines, medications, behavioral needs, or anything else that helps your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Most importantly, I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own—with patience, kindness, attention, and plenty of love. Your peace of mind and your pet’s happiness and wellbeing will always be my top priorities. I want you to come home knowing your pets were not only cared for, but genuinely loved while you were away.

Emily is a knowledgeable and very loving pet caregiver. Our Gracie is normally very anxious when left, but not with Emily! We have used Emily for pet sitting, play dates and grooming. Gracie is always excited to see Emily and we can leave Gracie knowing she will be well cared for in our absence.
Nobody will care for your fur baby more than Emily. She truly loves each and every one. I trust her completely with the care of all of my animals.
Emily is a pet caregiver you can trust. She has a special heart for all animals. She is kind to them and their owners also. You can trust your experience when you choose Emily to care for your pet. They receive loving care when with her. She will exercise your dog as needed and does whatever special need your dog or any other animal has. Emily is also a groomer. She says when she grooms a dog she wants them to want to come back next time because they had a special experience. She makes sure your animal is not upset. She is always patient and caring. Emily keeps my dog, Bear. She also grooms him. When he sees her coming up the walkway he does a special dance for her. He is so excited to she her even though it may be for grooming or staying here while we are gone. He really loves her! Choosing Emily to care for your pet while you are gone is a good choice!

Schedule
I currently work part-time, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of quality time caring for your pets. I’m also in the process of starting my own in-home grooming business, so I’m able to build my schedule around the needs of the animals in my care.
