I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means I can give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I’m available for dog boarding in my home, drop-in visits, and walks, and I’m happy to work around your dog’s usual routine to help them feel settled, comfortable and cared for.

I’ll always follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, medication (if needed), exercise and any house rules you have. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is in safe hands. For drop-in visits, I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect as I would my own.

I’ve grown up with dogs and genuinely love having them around. My family have had a Labrador, a Vizsla and now a German Pointer, so I’m very comfortable with larger, energetic breeds. Although I no longer live at home, I still regularly help care for family and friends’ dogs. I currently look after a Cocker Spaniel two to three times a week and he often stays overnight with me. I’ve also had my family’s German Pointer stay at my flat when they visit Edinburgh, looked after a friend’s German Pointer many times, and cared for a friend’s Jack Russell on several occasions. I’m reliable, calm and happy to follow each dog’s usual routine so they feel settled and relaxed while you’re away.

Emily has been minding my cocker spaniel for me for a few years now. She is so gentle and kind to him, always takes him on lovely walks and gives him lots of cuddles. She is very sensible and considerate of his needs. She is always reliable and has minded him for both days and when I’ve been on trips abroad. He loves going to see her so much
Emily was fantastic with my mini schnauzer, Arthur. When she met him for the first time, you could just see that she had a natural connection with animals. She is very caring and thoughtful. I’d let her look after him again and would definitely recommend her services!
