Pet care experience
Moved to the province 2022 and looking to add in some more animals to my life! I’m open to dog walking, drop in visits, and pet/ house sitting (within your own home as I have my 2 cats (Shadow & Coco) who are a hit & miss with getting along with others). Experience: I have stayed within numerous houses and since being out here have been within multiple more. I have cared for not only dogs, but cats, reptiles and even insects! I always leave the houses as clean as when I arrived and your baby loved. Background: I grew up with a Toy/ Miniature Poodle mix, Rusty. He came to us from a next door neighbour as a puppy and lived to be 14 - he was my life. As well, I’ve been surrounded by family members with various dog breeds; and every friend since high school has either had a dog or cat. Plus I’ve had a snake (Beetlejuice), hamster (Reid), Guinea pig (Buster) & several fish throughout the course of time. My life has been filled with animals, being around them, loving on them, feeding, bathing, taking care of them when they've reached old age. And now, being out here has left me with only my 2 cats. I’m looking to add some others into my days. No breed or size preferences as I’ve been around some of the largest and smallest dogs. *Cat tree in the photos was made by my boyfriend & myself. Plus there’s always a dozen toys on the floor. I put the effort into my cats life, let me share it around.

Did well with our needy dog. He was happy and calm when we arrived home. Unfortunately we couldn’t get updates because there was no cell service, but the dog was happy, the house was clean, and the reptiles had water, so all was well.
Emilia is a loving and kind person. She loves all animals. She has had cats and a dog in her family home her whole life. When she was younger , she had a hamster named Reid for 4 yrs. She loved him very much and took care of him well. Emilia also had a Guinea pig when she was in college. She gave him to a young boy that wanted him so much when she was done school and was moving. Shes very compassionate and empathic towards animals. She would be a great fit to your company.

•I always ensure there’s nothing dangerous on the floor for them to potentially choke on or eat, and will do the same for your home. •I double check collars and harnesses before putting on a leash for a walk - both to ensure it’s secured properly but also to ensure there’s a sufficient amount of space to not have choking should they pull. •When out for walks, I’m consistently mindful of the amount of leash and how close the nearest road is. I’ll always put myself between the cars and who I’m walking, fur babies come first. •Should your doggo not like being around others, not a problem! Let me know and I’ll accommodate the walk route in the best way I can. If we have to go a long way to avoid other dogs out, we can do that. I do what I can to ensure they don’t get stressed or triggered.

Would love to know how friendly and affectionate they are so I can be prepared. I love to cuddle and give pets, so would like to know so I can ensure the best bond - especially if they don’t enjoy it. Additionally, if there’s any temperament issues that I should know. Last thing I want is to accidentally trigger your pet.
A typical day
I love to walk around parks or through cute neighbourhoods. I’m still learning the city, so we can explore together. I’ll take any suggestions for nearby spots and notes on where not to go. I love to play fetch with them, so anywhere that is viable as well. My backyard is fenced in and would love to have them over to spend a nice day out back. Grass & deck, plus garage for additional shade. It makes for a nice lounge day with some free play (really good for anyone who lives in an apartment).
