I had a senior dog in my early teens that I cared for regularly. After our senior dog passed, our family began fostering through Bruno Project, a non profit dedicated to fostering and adopting dogs from St Lucia. We did that for a few years and I was a primary caretaker. There I learned how to care for dogs that may be scared and skiddish. A few years into doing this, we found out now adopted dog of three years. I would regularly visit my parents to care for this dog. I learned everything from potty training to enrichment to feeding routines and caring for their fur. I take pride in the ability to be attentive to each pet’s needs.
