Pet care experience
The photos displayed in my gallery are some of the beautiful animals that I’ve had the privilege of watching over. Hi! My name is Elysia and I am 25 years old. I’ve been working with animals for almost 6 years now and have gotten to meet some wonderful people and pets along the way! My main services on here are drop in visits, housesitting and overnight stays, but I am happy to discuss any other activities you might be looking for too! I was a vet assistant for about 2 years, so I do have some medical background knowledge as well. In the end I really love growing with my pet parents and being a part of their life and I couldn’t be happier with what I do at the end of the day. I’m very experienced in animal care and would love the opportunity to grow a bond with you and your fur baby. I’m not perfect and I have made some mistakes in the past, regarding a few visits, and have taken full accountability for those. After taking some time off of accepting new clients, I can confidently say that I have spent the time bettering myself and am ready to get back to working with your pets!

This is our third time working w Elysia & we are so happy we found her! She’s reliable & wonderful with communicating - she shares any updates and the cutest pics at every walk/visit. And most of all, our pup absolutely adores her and gets so excited when she sees her. When my husband and I are out of town or need drop-in visits for long work days, it’s gives us such peace of mind knowing our Goose is so well taken care of & happy. We are truly grateful! Bottom-line, Elysia will remain our go-to sitter & we highly recommend her!

A typical day
Depending on your pup’s normal routine and what their likes and dislikes are, I am happy to provide any fun activities and experience the moments they enjoy most with them. Walks, play time, trips to the dog park, practicing trick learning skills, and more.

Availability
I am currently volunteering and working through Rover full time. However, I typically can be pretty flexible with my schedule and can usually adapt to what you are wanting and looking for! There may be certain days that I will need to modify the times for drop ins and walks, depending on my schedule for that day. There may also be times that I have to step out, when it comes to housesitting, to complete other pet care obligations, but I will always be sure that each pet is cared for with equal importance and in the best possible way.
