I always like to get out at least a couple of times a day for a walk or a run and miss taking my retriever with me for these excursions. So it would not impact my usual routine in any way other than that I would be blessed with the company of a dog!

Despite being a second floor flat, we have an outdoor area that the dog can be taken. We live close to many green spaces and in a cul de sac which is very quiet off a residential road. I am a Police Officer so my shifts do vary, however this means I can offer short-term flexibility and availability at different periods of the week.

Please let me know of any particular behaviours, difficulties or needs of your dog. I know that no matter how well-trained dogs are, they all have to their quirks. My dog used to get anxious in tight spaces on the lead, so I would avoid those situations. Instances such as these would be helpful to know so I can adapt as best as possible.
A typical day
I enjoy playing with dogs, especially puppies. I know that sometimes a walk is not enough and they may need some extra stimulation. I enjoy a good long walk, can throw a ball a fairly decent distance and enjoy socialising, so can find them some doggy friends!

Having had a ginormous golden retriever for 8 years (he sadly passed away last year) with plenty of personality and spirit getting him into all sorts of situations, I have plenty of experience. I am calm and loving and can think of no better way to spend my day than with a dog! I have previously dog walked and dog sat for friends and family for dogs of all sizes. I am an aspiring Dog Handler in the Police force.

Ellie visited us earlier in the week to meet our 2 year old Golden Retriever and has been in today to visit and have a garden break with him while we were out. We got back home to find him relaxed and happy so thank you so much Ellie. It's the first time we've left him with someone else, so lots of pet parent nerves! But no need to worry Ellie was wonderful with him :)

Growing up, Ellie had a close bond with her dog Frankie, who had plenty of personality and kept her on her toes. That experience means she’s well-equipped to handle animals of all temperaments, including those that need a little extra patience and understanding. Ellie is also a naturally warm and personable person who is easy to get along with — owners can expect great communication and a friendly, trustworthy presence. I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending her services.
Ellie has been absolutely great with our dog over the years. She’s helped me out on many occasions with dog walks and over night stays. She’s extremely reliable and accommodating - I couldn’t recommend her more!
