Pet care experience
I started my pet care journey in the summer of 2021 through Rover, and I instantly fell in love with spending time with all kinds of dogs. After a few years of building experience and meeting so many amazing pets and their owners, I decided to start my own pet sitting business in the summer of 2024. Along the way, I also worked at a dog hotel for 8 months, where I cared for small dogs and learned even more about their different personalities and needs. On top of all that, I have my own dog, Teddy the sweetest 7 year old Maltipoo who’s been my best buddy and taught me so much about being a patient and loving pet parent.

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a pet owner’s home, I always aim to create a calm, safe, and loving environment. In my home, I keep things relaxed and comfortable with lots of playtime, cuddles, and a consistent routine, just like I do with my own dog, Teddy. When I’m in a pet owner’s home, I do my best to follow their usual schedule and preferences so their pet feels at ease and things stay familiar. I pay close attention to each pet’s needs, whether it’s feeding, walking, medication, or just keeping them company. My goal is to make them feel happy, secure, and well cared for wherever they are.

I’m very attentive and understanding when it comes to each dog’s unique needs, so any information you can share ahead of time is really helpful. This includes things like your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, medical needs, behavior around other dogs or people, and anything else that helps me give them the best possible care. If there’s something they love or something they’re not so keen on just send me a message and let me know. I’m always happy to adapt to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and right at home.
A typical day
A typical day with the dogs I care for starts with morning cuddles and a yummy breakfast to get the day going. After that, we head out for a fun walk— I like to mix up the routes to keep things interesting, especially for regular pups. There’s always time for play, and we’ve got plenty of dog toys at home to keep tails wagging! In the summer, I love setting up the doggy paddling pool for some splashy fun, which most dogs absolutely adore. We’ll often take a little outing to Pets at Home to pick out a treat or a new toy, and every now and then, we swing by Starbucks for a puppuccino because who doesn’t love a little adventure and a tasty reward?

Availability
Dog sitting fits perfectly into my schedule because I’m able to plan part time work shifts around my pet care bookings. Since I prioritise my dog sitting clients, I make sure my availability stays flexible so I can give each pet the time and attention they need. This setup allows me to be present and hands on during every booking, whether it’s for a quick drop in visit or a longer overnight stay.
