Friendly & professional dog boarders!
Hi, we're Ellie & Adrian, and we would love to look after your fluffy friend(s)! We both have plenty of time to dedicate to the care of your dog. We both have a few years experience of looking after family and friends pets. Ellie studied Bioveterinary Science at university, which included modules in animal behaviour and handling, and she also spent some extracurricular time volunteering at the dog training centre. Additionally, she undertook a dog first aid course, including CPR training. Adrian is currently finishing off his professional doctorate in Counselling Psychology, and has a particular interest in the beneficial aspects of being around animals. We live on a 5 acre smallholding, with chickens and sheep. We have a large enclosed garden for dogs to run around and play in. The area has plenty of popular dog walks. We have a car available for pick ups and drop offs, and can offer a range of services for dogs and other small pets. We are more than happy to meet you and your dog's needs, including training, medication, and any other requirements. We support positive reinforcement training, and will look after your pet with a warm and patient attitude, as if they were our own.

My Springer Spaniel Millie stayed with Ellie and Adrian for the weekend and she seems to have had a really good time and looks as though she was very relaxed in their company. I think E and A are very skilled in they way they manage dogs with little foibles or anxieties and they’re very good in dealing with owners too! I will definitely be rebooking soon.
First time we have left Bailey with a sitter who was not a family member. Ellie and Adrian were excellent throughout, they really cared for him and sent us so many updates with photos and videos that we could relax in our break knowing he was in very good hands. Would definitely recommend and hope to rebook soon
We can not thank Ellie and Adrian enough for staying at our house to look after out two very shy cats Sully and Eva. On our meet and greet, both Ellie and Adrian put us at ease and asked lots of questions to ensure our fur babies would be given all the love and care that they needed. We got daily updates and photos of Sully and Eva during our holiday which we loved. It was great to see that both our cats ventured out a few times to say hi to Ellie and Adrian as we know how shy they can be with people. Ellie and Adrian also took amazing care of our house. We would have honestly never known you had stayed. They are such a lovely coulple and we can not recommend them enough. We definitely will asking you to look after our two babies again in the future. Schedule
Ellie works from home, so your dog(s) will recieve plenty of individual attention from both of us, including cuddles on the sofa, and engaging, interesting walks.

Our large garden is completely enclosed, so there is no risk of escape, and we are happy to crate your dog(s), if this is provided.
Pets
A typical day
We often take walks on in the local area, which have proven very popular with our furry clients. We also like to take longer walks to Boswell Coach House and Dumfries House (if appropriate for the energy level of your dog). Lots of mental stimulation will be provided during their stay, and all dogs are sent home happy and well exercised.
Prices include all fees.
