Pet care experience
I have about 10 years of hands-on dog experience and a solid understanding of dog body language, behaviour, and psychology. I am also currently working on gaining my first dog training certification (expected July 2025). My training specialty has landed on service dogs, but I still have experience with basic obedience, tricks, and behaviour modification.

No matter what, I prioritise your pup’s comfort and safety. I pay close attention to body language and behaviour changes to make sure they stay safe, happy, and stress-free. Any instructions are followed closely to ensure your pup’s routine is kept consistent, medications are given on time, and any preferences are respected. For walks and drop-ins I focus on creating a fun, enriching experience while still prioritising safety. For house sitting, I treat your home with care and respect. I stick to your dog’s regular routine as close as possible and make sure that their needs are met. I’m also able to take your pup to veterinary and grooming appointments if needed. We can even go for a hike or to the beach with your permission! But please note I do NOT take dogs to dog parks.

It’s important for me to know if your dog has any food sensitivities or allergens, follows certain rules (e.g. not allowed on furniture), or has any behavioural concerns. If you have an intact female or a dog prone to marking, please let me know that as well. And if you’d like me to practice their commands please let me know what they are, any hand signals, and the language used (if not english).
A typical day
I cater to each individual dog’s interests and needs, so not every visit will look the same. Some activities we can do include: walking, playing fetch or tug, practicing commands, nose games, and snuggling. On occasion (and with permission), we also might be able to go for a swim or on a hike!

While I do work a regular job, I dedicate the rest of my time to helping you and your dog(s) in whatever way you need. Be it check-ins, house sitting, or walks!
