Currently, I assist at a spay and neuter clinic, where I gain valuable experience caring for cats and dogs before and after surgery and administering medications. Additionally, I volunteer at a local kennel, walking and caring for dogs awaiting their forever homes. Growing up with four dogs, I’ve always been surrounded by pets, making me naturally comfortable and skilled in their care. I’ve also pet-sat for neighbours and filled in for my sister’s clients, ensuring pets are happy, safe, and loved during daily walks or extended stays. While I’m definitely a dog lover, I also have a huge soft spot for cats. Since I am not currently in school, my schedule is more open, allowing me to provide flexible pet care throughout the week. During the school year, my availability shifts to mainly weekends, as that is when I am home and able to focus fully on your pets.
