I always make sure any fur baby around me is safe, comfortable, and happy. I always use positive, calm tones. I’m always very patient and sympathetic. I always try to understand an animal and their background. As someone who has owned and has worked with animals with abusive backgrounds, I find it very important to connect with and understand the animal. I understand that not everyone can be approached the same way, and some will need more patience than others. Treats are always a gateway to be an animal’s best friend too. (Unless you don’t want your fur baby to receive treats. I totally understand that some animals have allergies and food restrictions)!
