I have worked in the veterinary field for over a decade, and in animal rescue before that. I grew up in a household with an array of pets- birds, rodents, fish, dogs, cats, rabbits- and have had dogs, cats, and a chicken on my own. Even in college, I had a pet fish because I missed having a critter companion! I love senior pets (the oldies are the goodies), pets with disabilities, one eye, no teeth, etc. I provide pet sitting in your home (no overnights), so your pets can stay where they are most comfortable! I am conscious about locking up your home, sending an update and/or photo of your pet, and following your instructions for your pet’s care. I can let dogs out in your own yard, or we can take a walk around the block. I double check that all pets are accounted for prior to leaving your home - and will notify you if I did not see a pet during my visit. Since cats are super adept at hiding, I like to know their typical hangout spots before you leave so that I can look for them there. I verify that I have secured my entrance/exit points and will send photos or videos locking up so that you can also share this peace of mind.

Both cats loved Elizabeth’s visits. She was very responsive before and during our trip we will definitely be asking her visit our kitties on future occasions.
My cat is always so happy when I come home and Elizabeth has been taking care of her. Elizabeth does such a fantastic job. My elderly cat had a bit of stomach upset and threw up after she left a sticky poo outside the litter box. Not only did Elizabeth clean up both messes and let me know about them but she even offered to take my baby to the vet if I felt she needed to go! Then she texted me a few days later to check in on how Kitsune was doing!

Elizabeth is so great! This is the second time she’s taken care of my baby and I will definitely book her again next time I’m out of time. She gives me lots of pictures and detailed feedback on how Kitsune is doing each day, plus info about the house. For example, this time my toilet stopped up. Not only did Elizabeth tell me about it but she also plunged the toilet for me! Kitsune is very comfortable with her. It’s nice to come home to a calm, purring cat who’s happy to see me instead of one who’s stressed and hiding under the bed.
Elizabeth has become one of my cats' favorite people in the time she has taken care of them. They are happy to see her, and best of all, well-taken-care-of. She has great attention to detail, and is an excellent communicator. I would use her for my fur-babies any time; I can't recommend her enough.
Elizabeth took such good care of my 19 year old cat over a long weekend. She sent me lots of photos and very detailed updates every day. When I got home my baby was purring and contented, clearly very well cared for. I will definitely use Elizabeth next time I have to go out of town.

Programa
My schedule is fairly flexible, and I am typically available over holidays and weekends. I can accommodate once a day visits, and sometimes can come by twice a day.
