Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for as long as I remember and can’t imagine a moment without a 4 legged companion. I have two dogs of my own who are both miniature dachshunds and my whole world. I have had both of them since they were 10 weeks old, Ollie is a year old and Oscar is 5 months old. Dachshunds are an exceptionally difficult breed, but I have loved every minute of it and seeing a puppy learn and grow is so rewarding! I strongly believe that pets are family and love being able to ease pet parents minds who need to leave their fur babies at home. I have experience with puppies, elderly dogs, reactive/anxious dogs, and dogs who require special care. My dogs are very high energy and playful so I love looking for new ways to train and keep them entertained and happy!

I live in a townhouse with a fenced yard and a large grassy park directly behind the home for those who are interested in daycare! I also have reliable transportation for doggy pickup/dropoff and scheduled walks or visits! My dogs are very high energy and playful and I have yet to meet a dog that they don’t love or get along with! I have been dog sitting consistently throughout their lives so they are well adjusted to new furry friends inside and outside of their own home. Since I have two young dogs, the inside of my home is also party gated off so that I can ensure that I always am able to keep an eye on them and that they can’t get into anything that they shouldn’t be.

A typical day
I am always up for a good walk or play session! As for special places to go on walks, it really depends on the individual dog's personality and preferences. Some dogs may prefer quiet and peaceful areas, while others may enjoy bustling streets and parks. I understand that it is important to choose a place where the dog feels comfortable and safe, and where they can get some exercise and mental stimulation.
