Pet care experience
Hi pet parents! My name is Elena, I’m an animal lover from Delaware County and I’d love to meet you and your pet! I love and have taken care of dogs of all sizes, from teeny tiny yorkies to 100+ lb pit bulls! As a child, I took on a lot of responsibility caring for our family dog that I had spent years begging for. Just a few years after moving out on my own, my boyfriend and I rescued a shy, timid mutt that we have since trained to be a confident and social girl! I have a lot of experience with dogs and find that they can almost always sense that I am a safe and loving friend right off the bat. I also have plenty of experience with cats! Despite never owning one, I have come to learn their temperaments and I have gotten even the shyest cats to come out and socialize with me! I recently gained some experience with administering oral medication to cats as well, and I’m so thrilled to be getting better acquainted with them. I would absolutely love more cat clients! At this time I am only accepting bookings for walks and drop-in visits!

Elena watched our two dogs while we were away and was great! My dogs, one of which is very shy, were very comfortable with her right away. She arrived at our agreed upon times and followed all my instructions.
Elena did an amazing job with our boys! We have a very large excited Labrador we were nervous about leaving with someone new, but she handled him amazingly! I was very happy with all the updates and pictures she left us while we were gone. Would highly recommend:)

I will always request to meet you and your pet before officially agreeing to the booking–that way we can make sure we are a great fit for each other! I am comfortable walking dogs and/or letting them run around your fenced in yard depending on their needs. If requested for a walk after 8 PM, I typically like to bring my partner who is also a certified Rover walker, for safety reasons.

If you request multiple drop-in visits that span a period of 4+ days, I will send you a short but thorough Google Form questionnaire where you can complete all of the information necessary for the visits. We can further discuss this info at our meet and greet, and then going forward I will always have your written notes to reference when caring for your pet! For walks, does your dog pull? Are they anxious and reactive? What triggers their pulling or anxiety? Are they aggressive/defensive/protective of other animals, humans, or dogs? We can discuss further details when you reach out! A typical day
I am happy to give your dog lots of attention and affection. If your pet has a favorite toy, I’d love to have fun playtime with them! How we spend our time really depends on your pet’s specific preferences and needs. I know crucial it is to keep a pet content and comfortable while their owner is away from home.

Right now I mostly work from home, which allows my schedule to be super flexible! I have open availability, I usually just need a few days advance for visits/walks that take place before 12 noon.
