She did great with our dogs, they can be wild and she kept them entertained and well loved. Will 100% use Elena again for any dog sitting we need.

I have used Rover for years across many states and cities and have always had an exceptional experience until Elena. Elena was hired to house sit (days and nights) for our 2 dogs and 2 cats and disappeared from our home for 12 hours during the day without telling us. She left our dogs home alone for 12 hours straight- we have never left them alone that long, which is why we always hire a reliable rover sitter. Our cat who frequently comes in and out all day (never stays outside for more than an hour) was left outside for 12 hours with no water with a tropical storm heading that direction. It was gut wrenching to watch my cat try and get in for 12 hours straight. When I asked for an update she sent photos that were taken prior to the time I requested them as it was clear she wasn’t at our home. She gave our dogs little to no attention after she returned from being gone for 12 hours and just put them outside for half an hour while she hung out inside. A couple hours later, I watched our girls on the camera beg to go outside and sit by the door to be completely neglected by Elena. It was so sad to watch. When I saw the dogs trying to go out and Elena not responding I tried calling and texting her for hours with no response. We almost called the police because we thought something happened to her. She decided to respond at 4am stating that everything was fine, ignoring all of my other questions and requests for her to call me. This was the most stressful and scary experience. Please do not trust your babies with her. This happened to another person on here- please read her review about Elena. She does not care about animals and lies to those who entrust their animals with her. She will most likely try to rebuke these claims but I have videos and messages to support every claim I have made. I reported her to Rover safety and I hope she does not have the opportunity to neglect more animals on this platform. Our neighbors had to come and take our animals because we did not feel safe with them in her care. Do not let the “future veterinarian” fool you- she does not care about animals or she wouldn’t treat them this poorly. Such an unnerving experience while traveling- do not take a chance with her.
