I've been called a cat whisperer!
I consider myself a cat person, and I've been called a cat whisperer by friends and clients. I also love dogs! I grew up with both, and I understand how both species communicate. I've impressed friends and family with my ability to get dogs AND cats to learn behaviors like "sit" and "stay." I don't believe in "stupid" or "mean" animals--just misunderstood ones. With me, your pet will be treated with the respect and care they all deserve! If your pet allows it, I'm happy to provide simple maintenance such as brushing, nail-clipping, and dental hygiene in addition to potty breaks, feeding, and playing.

Safety, trust & environment
When I visit your home for any length of time, I will leave it as good as (or better than!) I found it. Your pet(s) will always get clean bowls and a clean yard and/or litter box. Not to mention all the cuddles they want! I will always respect your pet's individual personality, needs, and boundaries. Every single one is special and deserves to be treated as such, in the way they like best. On walks, I will ensure the safety of your dog and myself by ensuring I can physically handle any dog(s) I take on. I'm a small person with limited stamina, so medium and large dogs must be well-behaved on the leash. I will only take one client's dog(s) at a time. I will be sure to walk in safe areas, with your guidance. I will be sensitive to your dog's needs.

Schedule
I'm building a career as a pet caregiver. My schedule is flexible, so I'm able to work with you to meet your pet's needs. That said, please schedule as far in advance as you can to ensure that I'm still available! I prefer to do drop-ins during daylight hours. For pets needing morning and evening feedings, house-sitting is ideal.

- Be sure to advise me of any health issues your pet has, if your pet is prone to eating things they shouldn't, or if they prefer not to be touched in certain areas. It's also good to know if they are extremely bonded with you. Some pets behave very differently without their person present! Please warn me if your dog will try to chase small animals (or anything else) or if there's anything they're really scared of. Also: Do they like adult people? Children? Other dogs?
