I have owned lots of animals in my 30 years of life and currently have one very special 9yo mutt who is my world. I have experience with medical issues and am comfortable giving medications and caring for ill, injured or aging animals. I am also an avid walker! I adore kitties and am not bothered by the spicy ones. I had several cats growing up and have lived with or sat many more as an adult.

I can't have dogs in my home since my dog doesn't always get along with others. He does great with cats, though, and has lived with 4 without issue. So I'm happy to host a cat as long as the cat is alright with dogs! My dog is very wary of cats and mostly just ignores them. I have multiple rooms in my apartment and would separate them when I'm away just as a precaution. I am happy to do home visits and have reliable transportation for such, but I would prefer not to do overnight stays so that my dog isn't alone :)

Elayne is truly one of those people who has a natural gift with animals. From the moment I met her, it was obvious how much she genuinely loves and cares for all animals, not just as pets, but as members of the family. What stood out most to me was how much she treated my kitty, Bramble, as if he were her own. She took the time to learn his personality, routines, and needs, and made sure he felt safe, comfortable, and loved while I was away. Elayne is also fantastic about communication, providing thoughtful updates and photos that brought a smile to my face and gave me peace of mind. Her love for animals extends beyond pet sitting. The way she talks about and cares for her own dog shows just how dedicated she is to providing animals with the best possible life. That same level of care, affection, and responsibility shines through in the way she looks after every animal she meets. I would wholeheartedly recommend Elayne to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and genuinely caring sitter. Any pet would be lucky to spend time with her, and I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again.
