It’s important for me to know each pet’s personality and routine before I arrive, things like their daily schedule, favorite activities, and any quirks around new people, food, or noise. I also like to know about their health needs, medications, diet, and how they handle being alone or around other animals. The more I understand their habits and comfort zones, the better I can keep them happy and relaxed while you’re away

A typical day with me is calm, attentive, and centered around each pet’s rhythm. I start with a morning check-in, fresh food and water, and a bit of play or a walk depending on their energy. Throughout the day, I keep them company, make sure they get outside or have window time, and send regular photo updates so you always know how they’re doing. Evenings are for feeding, cuddles, and winding down in a comfortable, peaceful space. I love finding simple ways to keep pets happy and engaged, long walks through quiet streets or parks, playful games with favorite toys, brushing sessions, or just cozy downtime if that’s their style. For cats, I bring out toys, explore their favorite hiding spots, and let them set the pace. For dogs, we mix playtime, sniff walks, and training moments with plenty of affection and positive energy.

Eddington was reliable, friendly, and incredibly flexible. He stepped in on short notice and took great care of everything. I really appreciated his help and would happily recommend him.
Eddington was great, and my dogs seemed to really enjoy their stay with him. His communication was consistent, and I truly appreciated all the cute videos and photo updates I received. However, there were some major miscommunications around feeding and the consistent potty monitoring my puppy needs. Additionally, when I returned home, all of the water bowls were completely dry, and both of my dogs were begging for water, which was concerning. I would recommend Eddington as a sitter for dogs who have a steady routine and aren’t puppies that require close, structured care.
Eddington was a friendly and flexible petsitter. He cared for our very anxious dog and managed to bathe her before our return! I was nervous initially because I was not able to meet in person for me to talk through Plum’s routine and the idiosyncrasies of the house, but we managed with a video call and texting while I was away. My travel plans changed due to flooding, and he was able to work with me to allow me to return sooner. Plum seemed to have relaxed into a routine with him and I am very grateful for the care he provided.
Timothy has cat and dog sit at my place several times in the past year. I’m always so grateful when they are available because the communication is good, my home is well taken care of and I love Timothy’s special care with my standard poodle and outdoor cat. They both require some special diets, and Timothy‘s been able to fulfill those requests with ease. Everything is neat and tidy, and everybody’s relaxed when I come home.
