The best compliment I have ever received upon the arrival home of a repeat client was when she said, "The best part about entrusting our pets with you (6 cats and a large dog) is that when we walk through the door (I am gone by then as per their wishes) no one comes running to the door to see if it's us, because with you here, they didn't even know we were missing." I will admit, that felt great because if it were my pet, I would constantly fear that they were pining away for me and frankly, that thought would detract from my vacation. With petsitting in your home or even drop-in visits, your directive is key. I will follow your instructions to a T so that you don't have to worry and so your pets have the least amount of stress, in your absence, as possible. I will ask for written instructions so there is no confusion. I will be as communicative as you desire. That could mean a pic and a note every day or no communication period. Whatever works best for you. If house-sitting, rest assured you can have full trust in my ability not only to maintain your house and pets but also to manage any issues/emergencies you may have. I've often babysat sump pumps and waatched temperatures for freezing conditions so as to switch thermostats from heat pump to furnace. Any little tidbit I can help with, I'm there.

Information Easton L. would like to know about your pet

Ideally, I would like to meet your pets ahead of time. However, on very rare emergency occasions with first time clients, this isn't doable but that is the preference, as it takes away their fear and anxiety of "who is this stranger?" and it allows them to understand that I am in THEIR home and that is okay because Mom or Dad brought them here before. If there are issues you are hesitant in raising, (ie. your dog might go after another dog during walks) by all means tell me! Knowledge is the power to keeping your dog and myself safe! So, the more I know about your pet, the better I am equipped to help and helping is what it is all about!

A typical day

When I pet sit, I am fully committed to your situation. I won't multitask. Your dog would be treated as though it were mine. I concentrate on your fur baby and what it would like to tell me, when Mom or Dad aren't there. I work hard to understand your pet for to me, that is crucial. I follow your instructions to a "T" so as to make sure they are at their happiest and healthiest.

When you love what you do...

Pet care experience

I grew up on a farm and raised every type of animal you can imagine Ole MacDonald had! That included various sizes and breeds of cats and dogs as well. Often I would take one of the larger farm animals, train it and then leash it so I could walk it around the farm as though it was a puppy I was training! In terms of what I can offer to you as a sitter and what I believe sets me apart is my genuine curiosity about what makes your pet tick and what their emotions are. I care about their big picture. It's not just about going to your house and then feeding/watering/walking. It's about time spent with your pet so I can let you know that all seems well with them, in their time of missing you. I do short notice and can easily do last minute house checks or pet visits without much notice as well. I hope to be adding occasional doggy daycare as well and that too, can include short notice. I am trustworthy and you can count on me to be your righthand, if something needs your attention or calls you out of town.

Easton took great care of my senior dog. I'm a repeat customer as he is reliable both when I take my dog to him or when he sits at my house. He truly seems to care about my dog's mental ass well as physical needs.
