I grew up in a home with both dogs and cats. I developed a deep love and compassion for animals and have always loved any and all dogs. I once fostered a dog with severe anxiety for 2 months and helped him overcome his issues so that he could return to living with his original owner. I also raised my own pup since he was 2 months old and unfortunately am no longer caring for him because my ex partner took full custody of him upon our separation. I miss him so much but hanging out with other peoples’ dogs helps a lot!!

Duncan is a loving scaring pet owner. He also has always been a great and reliable friend and coworker as well. We worked together as mannies (nanny’s but male lol) he is always on time and very professional. I believe Duncan would be a great addition to the rover team and whom Evers dogs or animals he helps tend to will be thrilled and at ease with Duncan’s animal care and assistance.
This is very easy to write for Duncan since he is naturally phenomenal with dogs!! They sort of just gravitate towards him and respond well to his presence. Because of his personal experience being a dog dad and the childhood dogs he’s had, he is very knowledgeable on dog psychology in addition to just having a great read on dogs intuitively! He dog sits for a lot of our friends already. Overall 10/10 on reliability, knowledge, attentiveness and safety. The only thing I’d worry about with duncan is your dogs falling in love with him lol

I have a comfy and quite home which is a short block walk to the nearest park that has a wide open grassy area where all the neighborhood pups come play with each other. The park is also at the base of San Bruno Mountain where so I am able to go on longer walks and hikes if that’s more of a certain dog’s vibe. Depending on the requirements and the temperament of the dog, i usually like to play tug of war and snuggle up with the pups if that’s what they’re into. Overall I really just enjoy getting to know new dogs and developing a trusting, and healthy bond with each pup in his or her own individual ways.

Availability
I am currently working for a friend as i continue my education and my schedule at my current place of employment is up to me. I am able to work as much or as little as possible, apart from a few mandatory days every couple weeks or so. Basically my schedule is very flexible and ideal for taking care of my k9 friends!
