Pet care experience
I have 20 plus years experience taking care of dogs of all ages, backgrounds, and health needs. I have also been an active foster for the local shelters/rescues for 10 years, caring for many dog breeds and nursing them back to health. I am new to Rover, but I have been rescuing, fostering, and loving dogs back to life for years now!

I've had the pleasure of knowing Donya for 10 years, and I can confidently attest to her kind, caring, and dependable nature. She volunteers countless hours at our local animal shelter bathing, walking and socializing pets to prepare them for their future adoption. Her dedication to helping lost animals find their owners and stray animals find their forever homes is inspiring! Donya is the main reason we adopted our dog from the local animal shelter. She personally fostered our dog prior to adoption with a caring and loving approach. It was evident she was a natural around animals. She has dog sat our dog numerous times always with outstanding results. I have a fully fenced in yard, and your pup is allowed anywhere in my home if dog friendly. I have a fully functional, a/c, bathroom etc.. mother-in-law cottage where I would stay with your pup, if they didn't want to socialize. I will do what works for you!

Please let me know about any medical or behavioral circumstances your dog has before boarding/sitting. I have a guest cottage in my back yard, so its easy to give individualized attention to your pet away from my personal pups. I will only book one client at a time! I will be with your pup throughout boarding, I don't crate unless requested.
A typical day
We can play any fun games your dog enjoys. Fetch and keep away are my dog's favorites, but I'm up for anything your pup has in mind for enrichment! My fenced backyard is big and a great playground for your pup!

Availability
I am a school teacher, I am open on the weekends for full time boarding/drop ins , and drop ins before 7am or after 3 during the weekday. I am also open during holiday/fall/spring breaks during the year.
