I have had a passion for caring for animals since I was 12, when I started volunteering at my local nature center to care for the reptile habitats. Since that first job, I spent much of high school and college pet sitting and owning a variety of animals including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits, snakes, fish, and birds. I have experience caring for old and young animals, a variety of breeds, and administering medications. Whatever your needs may be, you deserve to have peace of mine while away from home. My pet sitting style is “there is no such thing as too much information!”. Before any visit, I will come meet you and your pet to help your pet recognize me, give us the opportunity to get to know each other, and discuss any details pertinent to your request. Throughout the visit, you can anticipate a plethora of pictures and videos of your pet, detailed updates on how your pet is doing, how their appetite is, how their bathroom habits are, and anything cute they've done in the stay! I will always treat your pets as though they are my own. I am committed to giving your pet the same standard of care that you would give them yourself. If there is a special request you have for your pet then by all means, ask! I understand firsthand how important those special routines are to our pets. If your dog needs someone to lay on the floor next to them while they eat, then I will make sure I am not wearing white so I can get down there.

Donnelle was absolutely wonderful, especially considering we needed care on short notice! Having one high-energy Blue Heeler/Cattle Dog can be a challenge—but double that by two, and it definitely takes the right person. Donnelle handled Jep and Rooney beautifully. She gave them plenty of walks, playtime, fetch, attention, and affection, and I loved the thoughtful updates after every visit. You could tell she was actually getting to know each of their personalities and figuring out what worked best for them. Most importantly, my boys always seemed to have a smile on their faces, which gives me such peace of mind when I'm away. I would highly recommend Donnelle to anyone looking for someone dependable, attentive, and genuinely caring with their dogs—especially active breeds! We would absolutely love to have her back and will definitely be requesting her again. Five stars from Jep, Rooney, and me! 🐾💙

Donnelle was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of our senior aged dog. Constantly updated us on how she was doing and made us feel secure in knowing she was being well looked after! Would highly recommend her and will definitely use her again!

Schedule
My schedule is incredibly flexible. I have a full-time job where I work from home, which allows me to be available anywhere I can bring my laptop and connect to wifi! Whether your needs are for day time visits, evening visits, overnight stays, or a combination of days and times, I am incredibly flexible to be where you need me when you need me.
