At my family house in Sri Lanka we use to have 11 cats and 2 dogs at one point, all of them street animals. I have bathed dogs and nursed new born kittens, including disabled fur balls. I also like to go to neighbourhood and feed the stray dogs on street. This is a joint effort between my husband ‘Chamindu’ and I. When I am occupied my husband is able to cover for and vice-a-versa, and if we’re both free we’ll usually both look after the pet/s, because we love them so much.

I would 100% recommend Dilki and Chamy. They have extra care for my Shiba, which are typically cautious around meeting new people. I was sent lots of lovely updates and which was very reassuring. This was my second time booking Dilki and Chamy, and once again they were fantastic cat sitters. They provided regular updates, along with photos and videos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My cats were clearly well cared for happy, relaxed, and well fed when I returned. The apartment was spotless. I truly appreciate their reliability and the genuine care they show for my pets. I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for thoughtful and responsible cat sitters.

A typical day
If you have a cat, we are home all the time so we will spend a lot of time playing and cuddling with your cat. We’ll find where they like to be scratched and stroked, and we’ll give them little massages and try to make their time with us as pleasant and as fun as possible. If you have a dog, we will take your dog for walk along the Pier Head to us and to Chavasse Park where there’s loads of greenery and space for dogs to play, both of which are next door to us.

Availability
I volunteer a few hours a week at the NHS Liverpool Women’s Hospital, these hours are flexible. I also volunteer at Woodlands Animal Sanctuary. My husband works from home.
