Pet care experience
I have taken training classes with one of my pups at home from beginner to advanced. I have most experience with puppies and adult dogs with a little experience with senior dogs and dogs with health issues. I have not had much experience sitting for cats, however I grew up with cats who I had from the time they were kittens through to old age. I am comfortable with pets of all ages! I also grew up with dogs as big as Old English Mastiffs and as small as tea cup Chihuahuas, so I am comfortable with all sizes as well.

Destiny did an AMAZING job with our three pups! I was hesitant using Rover as I was worried about not knowing the person coming to our home and taking care of our pups, but Destiny reassured me immediately. She took detailed notes, kept me updated frequently, and sent pictures. Honestly, I questioned if she was taking better care of our pups than we do! 🤣 I highly recommend her and will be using her in the future!
Destiny was super communicative every time she checked on my pets. I felt good knowing they were fed and taken care of. I think my pets got more love and attention than they would have if I had been home with them! I will definitely use Destiny again if I need a sitter ☺️
Destiny was amazing with communication, reliability and sent photos and updates the whole time. I had no concerns that my pups were being well cared for, and wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again!

I have two playful pups at home that love to meet new people and dogs! Every couple hours they go on leashed potty breaks in the yard or around the block since we do not have a fence. They go on 30 minute walks almost every day and a special hike or activity at least once a week. The duties are split between my boyfriend and I, and usually our roommates don't mind helping while we're out of the house! While no one is home, my pups are gated in the livingroom with all doors closed throughout the day as we have a younger curious pup who chews things sometimes. They always have access to toys, fresh water, and couches/dog beds to lounge on. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture and sleep in our bed with us at night, but we have two dog beds available as options. We love to give a couple treats/snacks throughout the day as well! When sitting for other pups, I rarely leave them unsupervised since I don't work on the days that I sit for other dogs. I really enjoy making the time spent with dogs coming to stay with us fun, so they can feel as relaxed as possible while away from home! As a pet parent myself, I respectfully follow all of my client's rules and what is required regarding their pets and home.

A typical day
We do walks around our neighborhood and usually end up down on the bike path by the lake for a little bit. We have lots of hiking spots around Marquette we like to go to if your dog likes more intense activity. We also take our pups with us disc golfing sometimes! If your dog likes to swim and has a life jacket, our pups love to go to the beach and play fetch in the sand or the lake. We also have brain games for the pups to do a little work for their treats. We like to have Kongs in the freezer ready to be chomped on when it's hot out or when they need something to focus on. Sometimes we play hide and seek with the treats, which they think is a lot of fun! Nap time is always an option.

Availability
I am at the vet clinic for work 4-5 days of the week 8:30 - 6:30 or some days 8:30 - 1:30 depending if I work four 10 hour days or 5 days with two shorter days in the week. I have weekends off and have no obligations on the weekends.
