Desi was really great! She came and walked my two little dogs twice on Saturday while I was gone for an all-day event. Her communication is top notch and I could feel her experience in reading dogs’ minds/actions to adjust the activities to suit them, even though it was her first time taking care of them. My dogs were calm and happy when I got back. I highly recommend her!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for - do they bark when they need to go out or do they stand at the door, what are some of the commands they know, are they leash trained, do they have any injuries, and finally how many snuggles are too many?
A typical day
A happy dog is a stimulated dog. I love to challenge each dog to flex its muscles whether it be mentally or physically. We will play a bunch of games (indoor and outdoor), check out all the new smells in the neighborhood, and explore the block for squirrels and bunnies. Mental stimulation is huge for me. 10 mins of sniffing is the same as intense running. I have learned many games like hide and seek, freezing snacks in Kongs, making lick mats, or hiding treats in towels to help each dog feel happy, content and hopefully sleepy by the end of the day.

Availability
I am working seasonally as a Bellhop at Jackson Lake Lodge. I have a little bit of wonky schedule, but if I have enough notice I can work with your schedule. I work with you to find the best dates and times for walks, drop-ins or overnights. Ideally I'd like to stay on the Jackson Lake Lodge property, but am open to some travel.
