Dogs and pets bring me joy and I love caring for them. Going on walks, playing fetch, and goofing around with dogs makes me happy :) I work from home and have plenty of time to give your pet the attention it deserves. I also have a fenced in yard so your dog can play and use the bathroom as often as it needs. Come by for a meet and greet in downtown wilmington whenever you are free. I do not have any pets however my neighbor shares my backyard and has a very laid back, friendly dog that keeps to himself. If that's an issues, I can easily close off my neighbors side of the yard. Left my babies with Derek for the afternoon- very communicative and we had zero issues! I am a typical crazy neurotic mama and get nervous leaving my boys anywhere- Derek was awesome and I can tell my boys are happy and well cared for.

Derek was great with our mini goldendoodle! We were vacationing in Wilmington and realized our dog wouldn't stop whining in the hotel. Derek was able to watch Knox last minute so we could have a date night. We were so thankful and Knox seemed to love him!
Derek is incredibly accommodating and trustworthy. I am so happy to have found him! My pup adores him.

I have a fenced yard and no pets! Easy drive up and drop off. I own Fullwood Street so you never need to worry about where to pull up, park, or parking in the wrong spot! You are always welcome to come inside to see where your pet is staying or I can run out to your car and meet you for pick up if you are in a hurry.

Small dogs are my preference but I like all breeds. I can only host dogs up to 35 lbs though since I'm a smaller guy (labradoodles are definitely acceptable)
A typical day
A stay with me will include a lot of attention. Walks every 2-3 hours and plenty of play time in the dog park (if you like). Your pet will get all he attention he/she needs :)

Availability
I work from home so it's my priortiy to stay active, which means plenty of care for your pet! They will enjoy frequent walks, a nice yard, and typically a private stay. I only host small dogs and have no pets of my own. If your pet likes sleeping with you, they are welcome in my bed too. I prefer it!
