Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats as pets. I spoil them all. Most of my pets have been rescues and have had certain issues as to their care. I don't have a problem with most issues and am quite patient in dealing with them.

I have three rescue cats who are not used to dogs, so I would prefer caring for pets in their home environment/territory. I am used to walking dogs and cleaning up after them.

The dogs I adopted were always adult rescues and had special needs of varying types. Sometimes it takes a lot patience to get connected and earn trust.
A typical day
When I had dogs, I would take them to a park or near a lake and run them. I always have dog treats with me just in case.

I am available most of the time. I am retired and keep myself busy, but I would like to feel more useful and be helpful to other people who are concerned for their pets in their absence.
